We want to provide and install quality flooring for you. With a combined 40 plus years in this industry, we understand that it can be confusing and somewhat overwhelming. Our goal is to take the confusion out of the process. We’ll work with you to determine your wants and needs, sort through samples in our Brandon showroom, and when you make your decision, we’ll work with you to make sure it’s installed properly. We know floors, and we also know that a new floor covering purchase is something that people don't do very often, but it doesn't need to be difficult. We can make it simple. We can make it convenient. And you can rest assured you’re dealing with a company that prides itself on honesty. If we can't help you find a product that suits your needs, that's okay; we'll gladly install a product you've purchased elsewhere.

Mark Jenkins
I started working in my father's flooring store cleaning shelves and sweeping floors in 1982 at the age of 12. I worked in all parts of his business until his retirement 20 years ago; mainly flooring installs but also sales for a number of years. In that time, I was also a certified floor covering inspector. I was trained in the United States and hired by manufacturers, retailers and consumers to inspect flooring issues and determine the cause and remedies to flooring problems and failures. After my father's retirement, I was mainly focused on installs. I met Bobby-Jo in May of 2010 when she was working at a local flooring store as a salesperson and we've been together since January of 2017.
We want to provide a simple, convenient experience and we want our customers to absolutely trust that they're dealing with good, honest people that provide a more personal & personalized service. Bobby-Jo and I can’t wait to work with you to get the perfect flooring in your home or business.
Bobby-Jo Danielson
My name is Bobby-Jo — Mark’s better half! My experience in the flooring world began in May of 2010. I had worked in retail for 14 years up to that point, when I was offered the opportunity to sell flooring at a local flooring store. This is where I met Mark. Over the years, I learned about various types of flooring, how to measure many different spaces and to quote products and installation. I always try my best to make the process smooth for my customers, as I knew at times it could be overwhelming for people with all the options presented to them.
Mark and I are now starting this new adventure together to make the process of transforming homes and businesses an even easier one. With Mark’s 30+ years installing experience, he and our team will transform your home or business! We’re excited to get started!
Kevin Ruddick
With 15 years of experience in the flooring industry, Kevin is the perfect person to talk to about your next flooring project.
"It's most satisfying when you can help a customer make the right choice for their needs. I don't just want to sell them something for the sake of selling them something, I want to make sure they get it right and I think that's why a lot of the people I have been fortunate to deal with are repeat customers," Ruddick said.
On a more personal level, Kevin, who is originally from Shoal Lake, has two children with his better half, Monica, in Brandon. He's also a self-professed foodie and enjoys sitting on his deck enjoying a few beverages in the Manitoba summer heat and doing the same in Mexico during the winter.
Travis Vanderhaeghe
With more than a 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Travis has seen a little bit of everything. As Red Kayak’s Install Coordinator, Travis ensures our team of in-house installers are meeting the high standards we set for ourselves.
“I like to think the little things are the big things because if you treat them that way you know that the customer is going to be happy with their install and will be able to enjoy it for decades to come,” Vanderhaeghe said.
Originally from Esterhazy, Travis moved to Brandon in 2008. He married his beautiful wife, Kendra, in 2019. When he’s not measuring jobs or ensuring our clients are getting the best service possible, Travis enjoys camping, traveling, hiking and hanging out with his dogs.
Amy McDonald
With a family in the construction industry, Amy has been around new and old builds her entire life. Originally from Alberta, Amy has found a home in Brandon.
“The process is easy if you pay attention to what the client wants and need in their home or project,” McDonald said. “It’s my job to turn that vision into a reality and guide the process so that everyone that I work with is happy at the end of the day.
When she’s not working, Amy enjoys spending time at her seasonal at Riding Mountain National Park, where she can be found kayaking on the waters of Clear Lake.
